Professionals

AXNOVA  focus on the  development and manufacturing of high-quality office chairs. Therefore, our requirements for product quality are not limited to the finished product, but also strictly adhere to the BIFMA standard as our minimum standard, from the formulation of raw materials to the manufacturing of components.

Plastic products(including PP and PA).

Plastic products are mainly used in the inner and outer frames of chairs, armrests, seat shells, base, and wired mechanism control lever. We have professional and experienced engineers who oversee the formulation, processing, and strength standards of our plastic products  to ensure that the quality of the finished products meets the standards.

Iron stampings Products

The main applications of iron products include the steel plates connecting the chair back and chassis, the steel plates connecting the armrests, the load-bearing components of the chassis, and the manufacture of some product legs. Surface treatments include spraying and electroplating. Regardless of whether spraying or electroplating is used, the surface must be smooth and not scratchy to the touch. In addition, the electroplating process requires a 48-hour salt spray test. This ensures that the product will not have any quality problems within the 5-year warranty period.

Aluminum alloy die-castings Products

Aluminum alloy components are primarily used in the armrests and base of high-end leather chairs. Firstly, the raw material must be die-cast aluminum conforming to Japanese standards (#ADC12), containing 11% silicon and 1.5-3.5% copper. Its advantages include good fluidity, suitability for die-casting processes, and moderate strength. Secondly, the molds for aluminum alloy components must be made of high-precision steel to ensure a fine surface finish, minimizing the need for excessive post-processing polishing. The final polishing step is essential. Most importantly, after the initial burlap polishing, a cotton cloth impeller is used for further fine polishing, resulting in finer pores on the aluminum alloy surface, slower and less contact with air during use, and a slower rate of oxidation and blackening.

PU

PU is primarily used for the upholstery of leather chairs. Regarding the properties of PU, the first is thickness; our minimum requirement is 1.2mm. Sufficient thickness gives the stitching of the leather chair a more three-dimensional looking performance, enhancing the overall aesthetics. Secondly, there’s the hydrolysis resistance of PU. The PU we commonly use comes from a well-known Chinese PU company – Anli Group. Their high-quality PU not only boasts stable quality and excellent environmental and abrasion resistance and colour fastness performance, but also passes the 48-hour hydrolysis resistance test using the Chinese standard QB/T 4681-2014 B method – room temperature alkaline accelerated method. This ensures that the product will not hydrolyze for five years in most parts of the world (including Southeast Asia).

Mesh and fabric

Mesh fabric, primarily used in working office chair upholstery, is characterized by its excellent ventilation and heat resistance. To ensure the mesh fabric’s abrasion resistance and tensile strength, we selected high-strength mesh fabric from a professional supplier. It successfully passed the Martindale abrasion resistance test of 100,000 cycles revolutions, ensuring sufficient support for users during use.
